Asante Kotoko experience Goalie Ernest Sowah has said he’s not a bribe taker following accusations by the club’s executive board chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei that he was bribed by Liberty Professionals when the Porcupine Warriors met them in the final round of the Ghana Premier League last year.

According to Sowah ”’Dr Kwame Kyei accused me of taking bribe in front of the playing body in the dressing room immediately after our last league match against Liberty Professionals”.
And in response to the business mogul on Kumasi based Angel Fm, the former Black Stars Goalie said ”I didn’t come to Kotoko as a poor man, I have my own house, I have cars so how on earth will I take bribe from Liberty Professionals”

The 29- year old short stopper has therefore appealed to management of the club to mutually terminate his contract which earns in 2019.
”I have one year left on my contract but I am pleading not to the supporters but rather to the management of the club to terminate my contract mutually because I am not happy at the club”
