Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso has expressed his excitement after making a remarkable comeback to Dreams FC, emphasizing his commitment to helping the club achieve success.

Esso, a highly-rated talent, has reunited with his former team after concluding his two-year stint with Algerian top-flight outfit MC Alger.

His initial tenure with Dreams FC commenced in 2020, following his transfer from renowned club Hearts of Oak. During his first season, Esso showcased his scoring prowess by netting 11 goals for the team.

Now back with the “Still Believe” side, Esso’s return signifies a reunion with familiar surroundings and the opportunity to make a significant impact once again.

While the details of his new contract remain undisclosed, Esso is expected to leverage his experience to bolster Dreams FC’s campaign in both the domestic league and the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup, where the team is currently competing in the knockout stage.

In a statement following his contract signing, Esso expressed his eagerness to return to a club that felt like home during his initial stint. He emphasized his unwavering determination to contribute to the club’s aspirations, highlighting his fond memories of his previous tenure in Dawu.

“I didn’t hesitate at all to make the decision to return to this club when the opportunity came up,” Esso remarked. “This place proved to be a good home for me when I first arrived, and I hope to contribute to the aspirations of the club.”

Dreams FC recently secured a commanding 0-2 away victory against Nsoatreman FC, further solidifying their position in the league.

Currently placed 11th on the table with 25 points, Dreams FC maintains optimism for a successful season ahead, with Esso’s return adding depth and quality to their squad.
