Asante Kotoko coach Steve Pollack says he needed not to give his players any extra motivation in their 3-1 MTN FA Cup win over bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors registered supremacy over the Phobians to win the prestigious title courtesy striker Sadick Adams first half hat-trick.
Hearts started the second half strongly but could not cause any damage to the Porcupine warriors who had killed the game in the first half.
Captain Thomas Abbey netted the only consolation goal for Hearts of Oak.
Kotoko have now won a ninth FA Cup trophy and the latest feat has handed them a slot to play in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.
