Former Asante Kotoko Coach Bashir Hayford has said under no circumstance has he missed the Porcupine Warriors Coaching job, adding it’s the red and white club who have missed him considering the good job he did for them when he was in charge of the Ghana Premier League giants.
The experience gaffer guided Kotoko to win the 200/2008 Ghana Premier League with notable players like Francis Akwaffo, Adam Mohammed, Prince Anokye, Eric Bekoe and Jordan Opoku.
Though [Bash] as affectionately known still dreams returning to Kotoko in future he insists ”I don’t miss Kotoko, Kotoko rather misses me for the good job I did for them”
” His Royal Majesty Otumfuor Osei Tutu II is the one who promised me I will return to Kotoko, he Nana told me I am just on loan to any club I coach and i am looking forward to that promise”. He told Kumasi based Fox FM.
The former Ashanti Gold SC trainer has agreed personal terms with Cape Coast based Ebusua Dwarfs to be appointed as the club’s new trainer following Brazilian Ricardo Cordeiro Da Rocha decision to part ways with the club.
He impressively won the Ghana Premier League title for Ashanti Gold SC in the 2014/2015 for the first time 19 years but resigned from his post a year later following a poor start to the 2016/2017 season.
The Veteran Coach has confirmed all thing being equal he will officially star work as Dwarfs new Coach on January 1, 2018 ahead of the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season.
