The talented player who has become one of the brightest spots in the team also disclosed how he managed to join the Phobians through another Accra Hearts of Oak player.
In an interview with Hearts TV, the AFCON U20 winner said “I went to Kumasi Asante Kotoko for a trial and was not successful, I came to Accra Hearts of Oak through my fellow player through Abdul Aziz Nurriden, am having the same manager so I was added to his negotiations but mine was to come and play for the coach to see whether I can fit into his team”
Daniel Afriyie has been very instrumental in the fortunes of the capital-based side this campaign with just a goal to his credit but several assist to his name. Accra Hearts of Oak play Legon Cities in mid-week before their epic clash against Kumasi Asante Kotoko On Sunday.
