Black Stars new boy Kasim Nuhu has revealed that he looks up to former Ghana international Sammy Kuffour.
Kuffour has had a stellar career at both club and international level, winning the UEFA Champions league with Bayern Munich in 2001. In his hay days, he was regarded as one of the very best defenders in the world.
23-year old Kasim made his debut for the Black Stars last month in a friendly against Saudi Arabia. He was one of the standout performers in the 1-1 world cup qualifying draw with Egypt on Sunday.

The Young Boys defender has now revealed to Citi Sports he wants to reach the heights set by Sammy Kuffour.
“Sammy Kuffour is amazing. He’s someone I always look up to. He was a fighter and a leader. He’s everything a defender ought to be,” he told Citi Sports.
“I watch a lot of his videos on youtube and I hope to be like him,” he concluded.
Kasim has had a great start to the Swiss Super League season, starting 12 of the 14 matches so far and has scored 2 goals to help Young Boys to a 7-point lead at the top of the table.
