Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential candidate, Kurt Simon Okraku says he draws inspiration from Dancehall superstar, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly in music circles as Shatta Wale.
According to the Dreams FC bankroller, he sees himself more in the “Kill Dem With Prayers” hitmaker who started from humble beginnings and he is now a pillar in Ghana music industry.
Speaking on Angel FM Floodlight Sports with Saddick Adams Obama ,the former Ghana FA exco-member said he plans on laying a strong foundation for Ghana football when he gets the nod to lead the Association.
“I take inspiration from music, and when I listen to Shatta Wale, he is exactly the kind of person I take some sort of inspiration from.
“He is someone who made it from zero beginning but and once he made sure his foundations are very strong, then he took off and he is enjoying total dominance from the young man,” he said.
The football administrator last Friday, while going to file his nomination forms at the GFA secretariat made an entry with Shatta Wale’s track “Kill Dem Wif Prayers”.
It wasn’t any different at the launch of his #GameChanger manifesto yesterday at the Auditorium of EximBank Ghana where he made his presence felt with the same song.
Kurt Okrakuis contesting George Afriyie, Osei Kweku Palmer, Amanda Clinton, Nana Yaw Amponsah and George Ankamah Mensah for the top seat.
