Ghana striker Patrick Twumasi has told officials of Astana FC he wants to switch camp to Turkish side Bursaspor.
The 23-year-old has revealed he’s desperate to leave the Kazakh giants to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
Twumasi is one of the hottest Ghanaian players in Europe after impressing heavily for Astana.
Bursaspor are said to have increased their bid for the Ghanaian goal poacher after Astana rejected an initial offer for the hugely talented striker.
He said: “I want to play for Bursaspor. I have made that clear.
“But it is entirely down to the club if and when they sell me. I am under contract until 2019 and it is up to them.”
Twumasi who is valued valued at €3 million will become the second Ghanaian to join the side after midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu completed a one-year loan move to the side on Tuesday.
The Ghanaian talisman has scored four goals so in far in the Champions League qualifying stage.
