Ghanaian top-flight Karela United midfielder Emmanuel Keyekeh has asked management of the club to sell him to Premier League powerhouse Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
According reports in Anyinase, the box-to-box midfielder has told Karela management about the his intentions to wear the famous Red and White jersey of Kotoko and has therefore made a decision to join the club in the coming days.
The 22-year-old has vowed to cut the ties between him and the Anyinase – based club to push for a move to the Porcupines ahead of their CAF inter club competition according one of the management members of the team.
Keyekeh is undoubtedly one of the best defensive midfielders in the country and could bring stability into the middle of the field for the Kotoko set up.
Accra Hearts of Oak, rivals of Asante Kotoko were said to be monitoring the progress of the player and were impressed with his performances in the truncated league and would be dealt a big blow after the player’s confession of love for their Old Foes.
Keyekeh could be heading to Kumasi in the coming days to finalise a deal to his dream club.
