Legon Cities defender, Joseph Adjei says he wants to utilize his chances when given the chance to play in the upcoming international friendly matches for the Black Stars.
The tall defender who has received his second call-up for national duties is optimistic he wants to show his talent to Ghanaians when offered the opportunity.
Ghana is scheduled to play against Morocco on Tuesday, June 8 in Rabat before taking on Ivory Coast on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the Cape Coast stadium.
When Quizzed about his thoughts on his call up and the possibilities of featuring in any of the two friendly matches against Morocco and Ivory coast, the defender said “ when you are called into the senior national team everyone expects different things from you special things from you because is the reason they called is you everyone expects you are better so you have to do something for everyone to see you deserve to be called, is a big pressure and a big headache is all kind of stuff”
The former Ghana U-20 defender further stated “I am very confident because is international friendly and is two games and they called 30 players so I think is the time to get the opportunity to showcase my talent to Ghanaians”
Joseph Adjei has been a pillar in the Legon Cities set-up and will be hoping his club will escape from the relegation drop zone. The player was on the bench over the weekend when his side narrowly lost to WAFA over the weekend.
