Ghana defender Kassim Nuhu Adams, says he will be excited should his international teammate Thomas Partey finally seal a move to Arsenal.
Partey, 26, has generated a lot of transfer speculations in the last few weeks with a host of top European clubs circling around the Atletico Madrid midfielder.
According to the rumour mill Arsenal are prepared to trigger his release clause while Liverpool are reportedly ready to swap English international and former Arsenal utility man Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain for the Ghanaian.
Sharing his opinion about the speculations of his Black Stars mate, Nuhu Adams, currently on a season-long loan at Fortuna Dusseldorf, believes whether Partey stays or swaps LaLiga for the Premiership he will eventually stand to gain from the decision.
“Atletico Madrid is a very good club so he is playing one of the biggest clubs in the world and Arsenal is also one of the biggest,” Nuhu told TV3 in a live Instagram conversation anchored by Juliet Bawuah.
“For me, it is his decision because playing in Atletico Madrid is the same as playing in Arsenal. The two teams always make the same category in the league fighting for the 3rd and 4th place to play in Champions League but as we all know the Premiership is the best league in the world so if he joins Arsenal, I will be happy for him.”
Partey and Nuhu Adams share a bromance which dates back in the early stages of their career when they both played for Spanish side Real Mallorca in the early stages of their careers.
“He has been my friend for very long time and anything he does or choose we will support him and we will pray for him do that he will make us proud,” he added
Nuhu and his Fortuna Dusseldorf side will play host to FC Paderborn this weekend as the German Bundesliga returns after the coronavirus enforced break.
