Former Asante Kotoko star boy Richard Manu has reiterated his desire to coach the Ghana Premier League giants before he visits his ancestors.
According to the Karela United FC deputy trainer, his love for the Porcupine Warriors club is unending and that he would not anything possible to coach the club in future.
The German based ex-footballer is currently going undertaking several coaching courses as he attains the necessary licenses to enable him coach.
“Definitely it will happen though I don’t know when it’s going to happen but until I leave this world, I will surely coach Asante Kotoko because I still love the club” he told Silver FM in Kumasi.
Manu also believes the target set for CK Akonnor to win a continental title ”within the shortest possible time” by Asante Kotoko management is achievable.
“It’s impossible for CK Akonnor to win any continental trophy for Kotoko within his three year contract because now there’s no league and besides he has to win the League/FA Cup before he goes to Africa so how can that be possible”
“CK is a good friend of mine, he has a German mentality of coaching so with him I think he can raise Kotoko to where it’s supposed to be if he’s given time to work for the club”
“It will be disastrous and waste of money for any Ghanaian club that will represent Ghana at Africa because there’s no competitive football in the country so to me there shouldn’t be any club to represent Ghana”
