Ivory Coach technical boss Patrice Beaumelle has revealed that he will introduced a rotation policy to his team when they take on the Black Stars of Ghana during an international friendly to be played on Saturday in the Ghanaian city of Cape Coast.
The Elephants – Champions of Africa in 2015 at the expense of Ghana – defeated Burkina Faso by two goals to one last Saturday during an international friendly played in Abidjan whereas the Ghana team of CK Akonnor lost to Morocco in Rabat in a similar exercise as both teams prepare for the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification tournament to commence in few months.
French trainer Beaumelle has been speaking about the Ghana game.
“Some players did not have time to play on this stage against Burkina. It will be a question of rotating them (against Ghana).” Beaumelle said.
“It will be a difficult match because I saw the Morocco-Ghana match (1-0). They will be keen to react. They will be at home. As I said, I wanted a home game and another away because you have to know how to travel to Africa.
Play outside in front of an audience that is not ours. I want to finish this internship. I want to continue to gain confidence. This group lives very well off the field, we feel that it is under construction. So we must continue and the positive results will allow us to move forward together.” he added.
