Former Hearts of Oak striker Kassim Cisse has ruled out a return to the Ghana Premier League, insisting he has already played for the best club in the country.
The 21-year-old Ivorian forward joined the Phobians in 2023 from Lanfiara Sport Attécoubé but struggled to make a significant impact. He made 17 league appearances, scoring three goals before his contract was mutually terminated ahead of the ongoing 2024-25 season.
Speaking in an interview with sports journalist Shaban Mohammed on Mo TV via YouTube, Cisse made it clear that he has no interest in representing another Ghanaian club.
“I won’t play in the GPL again because I have served the best team in Ghana (Hearts of Oak) and the biggest in Africa. I can’t come and play for any other team again—no, I can’t,” he stated.
Cisse is now seeking a new challenge and is free to sign with any club of his choice as he considers his next move.
