AFC Ajax Amsterdam Manager, Erik ten Hag says he still keeps tabs on Ghanaian youngster Brian Brobbey despite leaving the club for RB Leipzig in Germany.
According to him, the 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward would have had a lot of opportunities to play this season for the Red and Whites outfit.
He stated that, Brobbey could have given Ivory Coast striker, Sebastian Haller a tough competition at the striking options at the club and would have provided goals for the club.
Ten Hag acknowledges that he still has regular contact with Brian Brobbey, who left Ajax for RB Leipzig at the end of last season and gets little playing time there.
“If he had stayed, he would have played more recently. That had been gold for his development”,he said.
“He could compete with Sébastien. With his goals, purposefulness, speed and charisma. He knows our club and fits well in our dressing room”, he added.
