Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak SC playmaker, Ibrahim Salifu has revealed the main objective of the team this season in the domestic top-flight competition.
Speaking to the media after the game against Medeama SC on Sunday evening, the smallish but difficult to handle midfielder told the media what he and his team mates wants achieve at the end of the campaign.
“This is the time we have to be grabbing the maximum [three points],” he said after the win on Sunday.
“Our determination ensured we beat Medeama.
“It was a tough game, a very tough side, not an easy match.
“But we put in a lot of strength that gave us the two goals,” he added.
Hearts defeated Medeama 2-0 to move to 53 points and three points ahead of arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC who have a game in hand against Inter Allies FC on Monday afternoon.
Salifu, 21, was named Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory over the Yellow and Mauves after scoring the first goal of the match and setting up his team to secure a vital home win.
The Phobians will next play away to Legon Cities FC next weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium in the week 30 clash.
