Chief Executive Officer of Data Bank Group Kojo Addae-Mensah is of the view Ibrahim Tanko will be up to task when given the nod to coach Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Addae Mensah who is a sports enthusiast and avid supporter of the Kumasi based Kumasi Asante Kotoko thinks the ex-Deputy Cameroonian coach will be a good replacement for the Porcupine Warriors.
“Tanko is not a bad coach we can go for Tanko he understands the local nuisances, who knew Samuel Boadu properly before he came to Hearts, if u ask me immediately I think if Tanko is available he can do the job……. “We don’t need to necessarily recycle the old busses” the banker said in an interview on Ash FM
Ibrahim Tanko started his football career with King Faisal till he hanged his football boots in 2007 at Freiburg. The ex-Black Stars striker begun his coaching profession as an assistant coach at Freiburg before moving to Urawa Red Diamonds and FC Koln.
