Owner of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grunsah, has sparked fresh debate over leadership within Ghana football following comments linking former Black Stars coach Otto Addo to Kurt Okraku.
Speaking in an interview on Kasapa FM, Grunsah argued that criticism directed at Otto Addo should equally reflect on the leadership of the Ghana Football Association, particularly its president.
“If Ghanaians say Otto Addo is not good enough, then as GFA President, Kurt Okraku is also not good enough,” he stated.
His remarks come amid growing scrutiny of Ghana’s football leadership following the Black Stars’ recent struggles, including inconsistent performances and concerns over technical direction.
Grunsah’s comments suggest that accountability should not be limited to the technical bench but must extend to the administrative level, where key decisions—including coaching appointments—are made.
The outspoken football administrator has long been known for his candid views on Ghana football, and his latest remarks are expected to reignite discussions around responsibility, leadership, and the future direction of the Black Stars.
