Newly elected Ghana Olympic Committee President Ben Nunoo Mensah says he will run an all inclusive administration.
The Weightlifting Federation boss was on Wednesday elected as the new Ghana Olympic Committee president after beating incumbent Prof Francis Doodo.
Nunoo Mensah had 33 votes with Dodoo getting 28 votes of the total beating the former Olympian by just five votes.
Dodoo, who has been at the helm of affairs of the Olympic governing body since 2011, was vying for a second term but has been dethroned by the former treasurer of GOC.
Nunoo Mensah says he is committed to the growth of sports in the country
“I know its not going to be easy because there is a lot of work ahead ”
“We all need to come together and work for mother Ghana”Nunoo Mensah told Starr FM
“If you work and bring everyone on board, the likelihood of failure is very little because you are all working together and that is the kind of GOC i want to lead”he added.
