Aduana Stars’ striker, Yahaya Mohammed says he has been left disappointed after being snubbed by Coach CK Akonnor in his latest Black Stars call-up for next month’s Afcon Qualifiers.
The dreaded attacker missed out in the 32-man squad called by Black Stars Coach, C.K. Akonnor as part of preparations towards to face Sao Tome and Principe in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Yahaya Mohammed has so far played 10 out of the 13 league matches and has scored 6 goals.
Speaking in an interview with First News indicated that he is surprise he did not get the invite to join the Black Stars.
“I am currently the best striker in the country, maybe they have a special plan for me but if I am not invited, I would be disappointed.”
The 32-man squad are expected to meet at M Plaza Hotel in Accra on Monday, February 15, 2021.
