Head Coach of Inter Allies, Kenichi Yatshuashi says he’s not flattering Nigerien striker, Victorien Adje Adebayor after hitting brace in his debut Ghana Premier League game against Bechem United but rather encouraging him to do more for the Eleven is to One side.
The American-Japanese coach believes Adebayor has more to offer the Tema based club and that he wants him to bring out his best in subsequent matches.
“I didn’t compliment him. I just said that he’s a very good player. In fact, he has a lot of room to improve. It’s a work in progress. We have a lot of good young players and they have to improve.
“Just because they have one good or bad game doesn’t mean they’re good or bad. They have to improve” Kenichi told the media on Sunday.
Inter Allies were beaten 1-0 by Asante Kotoko in match day 2 of the Ghana Premier League courtesy Obed Owusu’s fine header.
