Ghanaian star forward Jordan Ayew says he feels honoured to be voted for as the Best Player at Crystal Palace FC for the month of August, 2023.
The English Premier League side announced Ghana’s favourite striker as the most outstanding player at the start of the 2023-24 campaign.
The 31-year-old Ghana International has been a bright spot for the club this season so far in the English Premier League and the EFL Cup.
He has two assists in three Premier League appearances this season, providing both goals for the Red and Blues in their two games.
He provided the assist for the only goal of the match in the opening game of the 2023-24 campaign when the Eagles won at Sheffield United FC.
“Thank you all for your votes – I’m honoured to receive the Player Of The Month award for August”, he wrote on social media.
“We have a great group this season. We will continue to work hard as a team to build on our good start after the International Break. See you soon”, he added.
He was the provider again for the team against Brentford FC last week when the team picked up a valuable one point on the road.
In the EFL Cup tournament, he came from the bench to help his team come back from behind to beat Plymouth Argyle.
He has been rewarded for his stunning start to the season with the player of the month award.
