Ex-Ghanaian international Richard Kingston says he is ready to take up the Black stars Goalkeeping trainer Job when offered the opportunity.
The veteran goalkeeper will replace Nassam Yakubu as the new goalkeepers trainer for the Black Stars according to sportsworldghana.com close source at the FA.
The former Wigan shot-stopper is currently in Cameroon for the first ever CAF Goalkeeping Instructors Course to prepare him for the Black Stars job.
The gloves man attended the course alongside top Goalkeepers trainers across the African continent.
“Of course am ever ready,If by the grace of God am official handed the job.My main aim is to help the youth reach the top level in Goalkeeping and also help the senior Goalkeepers to improve their Skill,”he told Radio Gold.
Talking about the current crop for Goalkeepers inGhana, ‘Olele’ feels there are Good safe pair of hands in the country.
“We will come together and work to produce better Goalies in the country,i believe we have Good Goalkeepers in here but they need direction,”he added.
The four-day programme which started on Friday and will end on Monday, 08 May.
The 33-year-old is due to arrive in Ghana on Tuesday afternoon.
