High flying Ghana defender, Kennedy Kofi Boateng says he is ready to play for the national U-23 and the Black Stars if called up by the national selectors.
The 22-year-old towering central defender has been a pillar in defence for Austrian second division club, SV Ried since joining them on loan from LASK Linz.
He has played all games in the first round where SV Ried currently lies 3rd on the league with 28 points.
In a chat with Adamu Muftawu of Radio Gold Sports,Kennedy Boateng expressed his readiness to wear the national colours at the U-23 or the senior level.
”How ready I am for the national team call up.I think I am very ready because it has been my dream to play for even the senior national, the Black Stars.”
”So I am just waiting for the opportunity to prove to Ghanaians how ready I am to be part of the national U-23 qualifiers ahead.”
”I am very ready to prove to Ghanaians that they have a wonderful defender like me Kennedy Boateng so that I can show Ghanaians what I am made of.
“So I am very much ready for the call up and I will prove to Ghanaians what I am made of.”
The 6 feet 3 inches tall Kennedy Boateng played for WAFA in the Ghana Premier League before moving to Austria to join LASK LINZ.
