Legon Cities goalkeeper Fatau Duada says he is not done and dusted with the black Stars insisting he will still welcome an invitation to play for the black stars.
Dauda has not received a national call up since Ghana’s poor outing in Brazil 2014 when the black stars failed to glitter at the world cup.
Dauda made his debut appearance for Ghana in 2008 and has played in 25 matches across all competitions, including the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
Since the Black Stars’ disappointing exit from the World Cup six years ago, the Legon Cities captain who played against Germany and Portugal in the competition, has not been summoned to the national team.
Speaking on Extra Time on Starr FM over the weekend, the former Ashgold and Eyimba FC shot stopper insists his doors are still open for a national team call up.
“There are a lot of players in the queue who want to play for the national team so I am still active”
“If they invite me to come and play for the black stars why not I will welcome the invitation because I am still active and playing “he said.
