Tetteh played on loan at Austrian Bundesliga side LASK Linz where he featured 29 times with seven goals and five assists to his name in the 2019-20 season.
Tetteh will become the 38th Ghanaian to feature in Major League Soccer and the 5th Ghanaian to play for New York Red Bulls.
Tetteh has played over 100 games in Austria since his move from West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC.
