Austrian Bundesliga giants Red Bull Salzburg have confirmed the return of the Ghana defender Gideon Mensah ahead of their next season league.
Mensah, 21, returns to Red Bull Salzburg after a successful loan spell at Sturm Graz.
Red Bull Salzburg Sporting director, Christoph Freund told the club’s official website that the young left-back is among the three players returning to the Salzburg based club.
“All three guys [Sekou Koita, Masaya Okugawa and Gideon Mensah] have played a lot in the past season, have developed very well at their clubs and performed well.
“We look forward to starting the new season with them and are confident that they are ready for the next step.” “Together with them and with conviction, we continue along the path we have taken in recent years.” he ended
He made thirteen (13) caps for Sturm Graz during his short stay.
The talented left-back joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghana Premier League side West African Football Academy (WAFA SC) three seasons ago.
