Athletic Bilbao striker Inaki Williams of Ghanaian heritage has signed an incredible NINE-YEAR contract extension with the Basque outfit.
The speedster was linked with Manchester United over the summer, although sources close to the player say there was little firm interest.
Now, Bilbao have decided to tie down their goal-machine and raise his release clause from £81million to £125m.
Williams, 25, said: “Hopefully great things can come because what I want to make this club bigger, if possible.
“This, as you can see, is my house, and all I want, I have it here.
“The club has always bet on me, it has given me everything, I feel it is my home.” The Ghanaian striker added.
Amazingly his deal – which runs until 2028 is not the longest dished out by a Spanish club.
Brazilian winger Denilson signed up for a DECADE at Real Betis in 1998.
