Kumasi Asante Kotoko are believed to be in an advance talks to sign Ugandan top-flight side Uganda Revenue Authority (URA FC), Steven Mukwala in the ongoing transfer window in Ghana.
The Porcupine Warriors have made the Ugandan their topmost priority and target to augment their striking department ahead of the 2021-22 season in Ghana.
He was a top target by the Ghanaian giant before the start of last season and made several attempts to snatch him last year from Vipers FC before his move to URA FC.
Asante Kotoko are very keen to add the youngster to their ranks to help them challenge for all the domestic trophies and are said to be very much prepared to break the bank for the signing of the attacker.
During the 2019-20 season, Mukwala was loaned at Maroons FC for the new season 2019-2020 where he has scored 13 goals in 22 matches to clinch the 2019/20 Uganda Premier League golden boot award.
The 22-year-old ended the 2020/21 Uganda Premier League season as the top scorer of Uganda Rivers Authority (URA FC) after notching fourteen (14) goals in 24 matches.
