Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru, says he models his game on Spanish international Andres Iniesta, revealing the former Barcelona midfielder is his ‘his football idol’
The Ghana U23 star who disclosed being a No.1 fan of Barcelona revealed he always watch the Vissel Kobe midfielder before he steps out to play a football match.
“My favorite idol is Iniesta, he is someone I always watch before a game. I think I’m trying to see improvement. I try to learn a lot from him. I’m confident I will get there” He said as quoted by footballmadeinghana.com in an interview.
The former WAFA ace, has featured for three different clubs on loan since he joined Red Bull Salzburg.
After a year at Austria Lustenau, he was loaned to Wolfsberger before being sent to Swiss top flight side St Gallen where he recorded his best quality form by scoring 4 goals in 34 games.
