Former interim Asante Kotoko Coach Michael Osei says he has was given a raw deal by the new management after he rejected a move to train the youth side of the club.
Osei who led the Porcupine Warriors to a fifth-place finish last season after taking over the rein when head coach David Duncan was sacked, rejected the offer made to him by the club.
Reports were rife in the media that new coach Zdravko Lugarusic called for the demotion of the former Kotoko player. Osei has attributed the constant changes of coach’s to internal politics in the club.
“Everybody was not happy with the turn of events especially with the old players of the club”
“They were very annoyed because they felt one of their own was maltreated with such a decision and even i was not sacked because of poor performance but it was based on internal politics in the club and that’s why they did that thing” Osei told Starr FM
“The way they are treating me the new management its just not fair in my opinion because they are pushing me to do something else so that the public will see me as a bad person and its just not fair”he added.
