The home team took an early lead to destabilize the Ghanaians after just four minutes of action played.

The White Wolves were the better team in the first half and could have been up by more goals at the break but missed the good opportunities and glaring chances.

In the second half of the match, the Ghanaian team came back stronger than the first 45 minutes with some impressive football on display.

2021 CAF U-20 Championship best player and winner, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored a scorcher of a free-kick to level matters for the Black Stars.

Four minutes from full-time Jaloliddin Masharipov scored the winning goal for the home team after pouncing on an elementary mistake by Great Olympics midfielder Michael Otoo.

The game ended 2-1 to Uzbekistan.
