The Black Stars of Ghana lost to Morocco by one goal to nil during an international friendly played in Rabat last Tuesday and they take on the Elephants of La Cote d’Ivoire but manager Patrice Beaumelle has warned the likes of Eric Bailly, Serge Aurier and co that the Ghanaian team will seek for redemption.
Beaumelle seems to know one or two things about the Black Stars who normally bounce back to get good results after a reverse – even in tournaments their first games are mostly not good but the second games are always solid.
The Ivorian national team coach knows that the team of CK Akonnor would be difficult to be beaten twice in a row even if these are friendly games.
“It will be a difficult match because I saw the Morocco-Ghana match (1-0). They will be keen to react. They will be at home.” Beaumelle warned.
“As I said, I wanted a home game and another away because you have to know how to travel to Africa. Play outside in front of an audience that is not ours. I want to finish this internship. I want to continue to gain confidence. This group lives very well off the field, we feel that it is under construction. So we must continue and the positive results will allow us to move forward together.” he added.
