Former Ghana Black Meteors forward, Kwabena Owusu has applauded the Ghana Football Association for steps taken to get foreign players of Ghanaian descent to play for Black Stars.

He said it is the right thing to do and a good idea by the Ghana FA to go and talk to players born in Europe to represent Ghana.

According to him, the Ghana Football Association should only opt for the foreign players with good hearts and ready to play for Ghana.

He also advised the FA to only go in for quality players to come and don the famous Black Stars jersey to play for Ghana.

“It’s normal and good idea to go and talk to our brothers born in Europe who have played for European junior national teams to play for the national team but we should choose the best who have good heart and very good on the field of play to represent our country”, he told Original FM
