Asec Mimosas striker Ahmed Toure says ‘it’s a great feeling’ after scoring in his side’s 1-0 derby victory over Africa Sports on Sunday in the Ivorian top flight league.
Toure netted the only goal in the game to propel the Abidjan based club to their 7th consecutive victory and also going eight matches with defeat.
The former Bechem United tormentor who is establishing himself in Siaka Traore’s side, has scored four goals in three caps since he joined them from Bechem United after the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League where he netted 13 goals.
“I’m very happy to score for my team [against Africa Sports]. It’s always a great feeling to score,” Toure told SportsworldGhana.com.
”I’m really glad I was able to score another goal but this time against one of the best teams in the League Africa Sports. I want to remain focused and establish myself more in the team.”
”Getting to score again is giving me a lot of confidence and desire to keep fighting. With four goals already, I will not relent but will surely continue to give my best in every game,” he concluded.
