Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC captain, Felix Annan has welcomed the challenge of rivals Accra Hearts of Oak for the Ghana Premier League title.
The Porcupine Warriors goalkeeper who has been out of favour for the most part of season believes his team only needs to concentrate on their games and not to worry about what others do in the league.
The 26-year-old goalie is likely to man the posts for the Red and Whites in the absence of Razak Abalora in their next game in Obuasi against their regional rivals Ashantigold SC.
“It’s normal to feel pressured when you play for Asante Kotoko and especially when your arch-rivals are huge”,he told Oyerepa FM.
He also started the need for the Kotoko players to keep their focus for the rest of the season.
“We need to keep our focus and win the rest of the matches and we’re not thinking about anyone”, he added.
Kotoko will play Ashantigold whiles Hearts of Oak SC takes on City rivals Great Olympics as both teams battles for the giant rival.
