Aduana Stars player-maker Sam Adams has sounded a word of warning to his teammates not to be complacent in their quest to win this year’s Ghana Premier league title insisting ”it is not over yet”.
The Ogya lads currently stands favorites to win the 2017 Ghana premier league title,after defeating league rivals WAFA in their week 27 crunchy clash at home by a loan goal,tops the league chart with 51 points, four(4) points clear WAFA who sits second with 47 points.
With still three games more to end the league season makes everything possible to happen as Adams expressed.
Sam in the ‘Ogya boys’ much anticipated league game with WAFA,exhibiting a topnotch performance won him the NASCO man-of-the-match award which afterwards on his outfits challenge for the league title told the media “is not over yet We need to focus on our subsequent matches,” he said.
“If we seriously want to win the league,we really have to work header and with prayers will surely clinch on to all the three(3) maxinum points in our pending three(3) league games to help us win the league,” Adams added.
Aduana in their next league fixture will travel away to take-on already relegated Bolga All-Stars,who have amassed only 12 points from 27 games,with their hopes high to draw much more closer to winning the league title this season.
Aduana Stars made history by winning the Ghana Premier League in their debut campaign in 2009.
