Ghanaian USA-based defender Lalas Abubakar says he has justified himself to earn a Black Stars call-up from Coach Kwesi Appiah.
Coach Kwesi Appiah spent close to 14 days in the USA monitoring Ghanaian players in the MLS and USL and monitored the former Black Satellites defender.
This the 22-year-old is hopeful he would earn him invitation to represent his country at the senior national level.
“It was great. He [Kwesi Appiah] came at the right time and I had my opportunity to show him what I am capable of,” he told KwesèESPN.
“I wanted to show him what I got by simply doing well. I thought I played really well in that game so hopefully I have made my case for a call-up.”
