Ivory Coast head coach Michel Dussuyer has set his sights on their second 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) game on Friday evening.
The defending champions are scheduled to take on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in a Group C encounter at the Stade d’Oyem in the city of Oyem.
The Elephants were held to a goalless stalemate by Togo in their opening game in Oyem on Monday, while DR Congo beat stunned Morocco 1-0 at the same venue.
Frenchman Dussuyer has urged his troops to approach their clash with the Leopards with a conquering mindset.
“We did not mix all the ingredients to claim more than a draw,” Dussuyer told the media.
“It will be necessary to approach this very important match (against DR Congo) with a more conquering mindset,” he added.
Kick-off between Ivory Coast and DR Congo is at 18h00 (CAT).
