Ghanaian centre-back Jeffrey Ofori has been handed a one-year contract extension by Danish Second Division side Bronshoj Boldklub.
Ofori,24, has been a pillar for Michael Madsen’s side since joining them last season.
The Ghanaian international has been rewarded a new one year deal following his display in the 2 Division league.
A club statement confirming the contract extension of Jeffrey together with two other team-mates namely Nicolai Clausen and Jonas Magnussen by Sporting Director Thomas lbsen reads:
“Common to all three – Jeffrey, Nicolai and Jonas – is that they contribute with high tempo and great commitment to both training and fighting. They are all in a huge development as players, which is being built on.”
”I am therefore incredibly happy that they have extended and that they continue their huge efforts for the team”, added the sports director.
Jeffrey made his debut on 11 August 2015 in the cup victory of 3-0 away against HIK and has played a total of 99 matches, and scored one goal, for Brønshøj.
Jeffrey is still eligible to play for Ghana as he is yet to represent Denmark at the international level
