Per various media outlets, Ghana international, Jeffrey Schlupp has been offered a new contract English Premier League side, Crystal Palace.
Schlupp, whose contract at the Selhurst Park expired last month is said be negotiating with the Eagles on a possible new two-years deal, which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2023.
With the recent appointment of Patrick Vieira as the new Palace boss, the former Arsenal midfielder is said to have recommended for the continuation of the Ghanaian, with the latter said to play a vital role for the ex-OGC Nice head coach.
To further add a bit of truth to the growing speculations, the 28-year-old has been involved in the Eagles’ pre-season training which commenced earlier this week under Vieira.
The 19-times capped Ghana international netted twice in 28 appearances across all competitions under the tutelage of former manager, Roy Hodgson during the 2020/21 campaign.
