Former Ajax AFC Amsterdam manager, Aad de Mos has praised Ghanaian-born Belgium Jeremy Doku after joining French team Stade Rennes.
According to De MOs, the former Anderlecht sat has a major international career ahead of him and he’s very optimistic the youngster will explode in France.
The 18-year-old winger, who will soon be playing in his second international game for the Red Devils has been tipped by the former Werder Bremen Coach to take the world by storm.
“He is in good hands. I have already seen Rennes play a few times. He will develop further, there. He seems like a good boy with many qualities”, De Mos said.
The former PSV Eindhoven manager, further added that the young footballer, Doku has impressed him with his impressive showings in the Belgium Pro League last season.
“I was already impressed by him last season. I can imagine why Rennes opted to pay 27 million for the youngster”, De Mos concluded.
The Ghanaian-born Belgian promising winger chose Belgium over Ghana and will be featuring for the Red Devils against West African side Ivory Coast in an international friendly.
De Mos, 73, has managed clubs in Holland, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Greece, as well as managing the United Arab Emirates national team.
His biggest success was winning the 1987–88 European Cup Winners’ Cup as manager of Belgian club Mechelen.
