Former Ghana international John Paintsil, has named South Korean legend Park Ji-sung as the toughest opponent he faced during his career.
According to the former Fulham defender, Park is a very swift player and he was always finding it very difficult to handle him.“I was always finding it very difficult to mark Park that guy is something else and he gave me a very tough time whenever we met Manchester United”
Painstil added that Park always had the spirit of ‘never say die’ and would never give up on any duel.“Park is really a good player even sometimes I try to bring him down but he will never kowtow to my bullying on the pitch” Paintsil told Adam Adjei on Kasapa FM’s Dwidwamu Sports.
The South Korean national who is now a global ambassador for his former Club Manchester United, made 134 appearances for the Red Devils during his 7 years spell at the club, scoring 19 goals.
