Former Ghana defender John Paintsil claims Fulham are back to where they belong after beating Brentford in the Championship play-off final on Tuesday.
Fulham beat Brentford 2-1 to secure their return to the Premier League after a season absence.
The former Ghana international who played for the English side in the peak on his career, in an interview with Happy FM expressed joy at his former club’s promotion to the Premier League, adding they are now back to where they belong.
“The players played well and I was delighted with how they were able to hold the lead until the final whistle. This qualification means a lot to the whole community and London”, he said.
“Fulham is not a team that is supposed to be in the Championship, their level is the Premier League considering the laurels and achievements the club has”.

“The club must get an experienced coach like Roy Hodgson also Scott Parker has played in the Premier League and he will have that experience to guide the team”.
