Accra Hearts of Oak youngster William Dankyi believes he joined the Phobians at the right time and that his move was the best thing to happen to him.
Dankyi joined the Ghana Premier League giants in the second window transfer from Liberty Professionals and he seems to be establishing himself gradually in the Accra based club.
With just three appearances in the league, an FA cup game, coupled with some friendly games for Hearts, Dankyi has been tipped to be one of the best left- backs in the Ghanaian domestic league considering his impressive display with his young age.
He’s however confident that joining Hearts of Oak would help him brighten his football career and become a better player in future.
“I had no difficulty opting to play for Hearts of Oak other than other potential suitors; the club represents what I call an ideal club.” he told Kickgh.com in an interview.
“It was one of the easiest decisions I have taken in my short time of existence. We share the same beliefs and philosophies hence my decision to join them.
“I know people will come to appreciate me for taking such a bold step one day. Joining Hearts is the best thing to happen to me.” the courageous left- back added.
