Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has expressed disappointment following Crystal Palace’s 2-2 stalemate against Thomas Partey’s Arsenal on Monday.
The Ghanaian duo started the game for their respective clubs as they shared the spoils after a thrilling and entertaining full 90 minutes.
Substitute Alexandra Lacazette’s late strike was enough to deny Arsenal a home defeat.
Aubameyang shot the hosts ahead but his strike was cancelled by Christian Benteke in the 50th minute after he was set up by Jordan Ayew who operated from the flank in the game.
Odsonne Edouard struck beautifully in the 73rd minute to give Crystal Palace a 1-2 lead.
With Patrick Vieira’s side almost ending the game as vectors, french striker Alexandre Lacazette scored in the 94th minute to draw the game for Arsenal.
Jordan was subbed in the 71st minute after making way for youngster Michael Olise whiles Thomas Partey lasted the full 90 minutes of the game.
The Black Stars attacker, took to social media to register his disappointment after the game. He believes his outfit- Crystal Palace should have clinched all three points in the game.
Disappointed we couldn’t get a deserved win at Arsenal but a lot of positives to take away from the game.
