Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew has leapfrogged Anthony Yeboah as the highest Ghanaian scorer in English Premier League.
Ayew’s goal scored Crystal Palace’s second goal of the game, which was enough to guarantee the South London club a 2-0 win over AFC Bournemouth.
The goal, as crucial as it was for Crystal Palace, was also important for the striker as it took him above Tony Yeboah as Ghana’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League with 25 goals.
The former Swansea City striker, is also Crystal Palace’s top goal scorer this season with 9 goals.
