Black Stars striker Jordan Ayew will now work under new manager Steve Bruce following the sacking of Roberto Di Mateo for Paltry performance.

Bruce was appointed new manager of the club on Wednesday afternoon.

Villa’s Twitter-loving supremo Dr Tony Xia revealed last night he had ended his 10-day search to find a replacement for sacked boss Roberto Di Matteo

Xia had Tweeted: “Scheduled to announce the new manager tomorrow! Time for all to stand together and back the team! Believe we’ve made the best try! #UTV (Up the Villa)”

Manager Roberto Di Matteo was sacked last week for the club’s stuttering start to the season after playing just 11 league games.

Steve Bruce thus succeeds Di Mateo and Ayew will be hoping to work hard to enjoying enough playing time under his new manager.

Ayew is currently receiving treatment after picking a minor injury in Ghana’s disappointing 0-0 draw with the Cranes of Uganda in the Russia 2018 world cup qualification.
