Crystal Palace fans have voted Jordan Ayew’s superb finish against West Ham United in the Premier League as the greatest ever goal scored at the Selhurst Park since 1924.
The former Swansea forward, fooled Declan Rice with high-spirited easiness and went ahead to dribble three other West Ham players before brilliantly slotting the ball over the reach of goalkeeper Roberto Jimenez.
Ayew had earlier assisted Cheikhou Kouyate in the 68th minute to snatch an equalizer after Robert Snodgrass had grabbed the opener in the 57th minute.
The Ghanaian international then, fashionably scored the winner to secure all three points for the Eagles.
Football.london, an English football portal, asked Crystal Palace fans to vote for the best goal they have seen at their stadium since it was built in 1924 and Ayew’s beautiful strike was voted the best ever by the fans.
