Ghana defender Joseph Attamah Larweh is full of joy after helping Fatih Karagümrük secure promotion to the Turkish Super Lig for the first time in 36 years.
The versatile former Tema Youth defender played a crucial role in the club’s return to the topflight after excelling in Thursday night’s penalty shootout victory over former club Adana Demirspor.
Karagümrük emerged victorious 6-5 on penalties after a pulsating 1-1 draw with Attamah Larweh among the scorers in the shootout.
The Black Stars defender took to twitter to express his delight.
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Psalm 37:5 I will like to take this platform to thank all my teammates and staffs of Fatih Karamagumruk. we worked very hard day in day out to achieve this victory. I’m very delighted to be part of this journey,” he posted on Twitter.
